Despite the many injury and physical set-backs over the last few years, British tennis star, Jack Draper, gets back up and wins Indian Wells. 

Draper, 23, thrashed Holger Rune 6-2, 6-2 to claim the Masters 1000 title in Indian Wells, often described as “the fifth grand slam”, regarded as one of the most important tournaments outside of tennis's four majors. 

He had considered quitting tennis during the Covid pandemic:

“You have all these big dreams and then you come out of the juniors and you’re into the grind. You have to go to all these hard places and beat men. It got to lockdown and it was really tough for players to break through. I thought maybe I wasn’t cut out for tennis."

Jack is now ranked world No. 7 and a great endorsement of the LTA's Pro Scholarship Programme as well as the importance of never giving up the dream.
